This dementia awareness online course is intended to give you an overview of the common types and symptoms of dementia as well as going into how it can affect the brain in different ways.

It also covers strategies to use with clients with dementia and dealing with challenging behaviour.

How long will it take to complete this course and how will I be assessed?

This dementia awareness training programme takes only 25 minutes to complete, making it simple to slot into a working week for existing staff or build into your induction process for new recruits.

There are four modules in the course, with a multiple choice test at the end of each.

To receive their certificates of achievement, students needs to pass all four tests with a score of at least 70%.
