This online Manual Handing awareness course is designed to help employers meet their obligations under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.

At the start of the course, each student will receive an outline of manual handling – what it involves, and what regulations are in operation.

You will learn about how best to manage ongoing risks and how to develop good habits in relation to manual handling.

Next, you will cover practical manual handling solutions, including two common lifting techniques – LITE (Load, Individual, Task, Environment) and TILE (Task, Individual, Load, Environment).

This should give you additional information to help you complete your duties in the safest possible manner.

Finally, the use of mechanical aids will also be covered.

This online course is designed to give students a theoretical understanding of the best way to conduct manual handling procedures while maintaining a consistently safe working environment.
