Is this the right course for me?

This is an awareness course working in confined spaces course only, designed for people who need to be aware of the hazards and risks of confined space working but are not required to enter a confined space.

If you are required to perform any work activity in, or in the proximity of, a confined space then you will also need to have an ‘approved’ standard of practical training at the ‘appropriate’ level.

Working in confined spaces: what is covered?

This course will cover the legislation associated with working in confined spaces.

What counts as a confined space, the potential hazards, safe operating procedures, emergency procedures and rescue.

At the end of this course you’ll be able to demonstrate your understanding of the control measures to be followed when working in, or near to, confined spaces as detailed in a safe working procedure.

How long will it take to complete this course and how will I be assessed?

This 100% online course can be completed anywhere at anytime.

All you need is an internet-enabled device (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone) and an internet connection.

Most students complete this course in just 25 minutes.

At the end of each module, students face a multiple choice test.

You must score at least 70% in all four multiple choice tests in order to pass the course and receive your certificate of achievement.
